Weather-permitting, South Entrance and select roads in Yellowstone National Park to open May 14

Temperature-allowing, the following roads will open Friday, Might 14, at 8 a.m. to general public motorists: 

• South Entrance to West Thumb 

• Lake Village to West Thumb 

• West Thumb to Old Devoted (Craig Move)  

Conditions can alter immediately, particularly for the duration of spring and fall, and roads can temporarily close because of to poor driving ailments.

• Be expecting website traffic sample changes and/or delays at the North Entrance and Old Faithful area.  

• The highway amongst Tower-Roosevelt and Canyon Village is closed for the 2021 season.
