GRAND CANYON, Ariz. – On December 15 at approximately 7:41 a.m. the Grand Canyon Regional Communications Middle received a phone reporting a fatality above the Black Bridge on the South Kaibab Path.   

Park rangers responded to the incident and situated the sufferer, Jaiquan Carter, 23, of Phoenix, Arizona. Carter was considered to be day climbing when he fell roughly 80 ft. from the South Kaibab Path.   

An investigation into the incident is getting executed by the Nationwide Park Assistance in coordination with the Coconino County Healthcare Examiner’s Workplace. No additional info is accessible at this time.
