Two Roads on North Rim of Grand Canyon National Park will Temporarily Close

Grand Canyon, AZ– Grand Canyon Countrywide Park will temporarily near the Cape Royal and Place Imperial Roads on the North Rim in order to entire essential road enhancement projects. This closure will be in impact from sunset on Sunday, July 26, through Thursday, July 30. The Cape Royal and Position Imperial Streets as properly as all overlooks along these streets will reopen to the community on July 31 at 6 a.m.

Weighty monsoon weather conditions and design actions necessitate the closure of these roads to assure customer and worker safety. The gate will be locked near Point out Route 67 to allow staff to comprehensive the full extent of the highway enhancement project.

All other streets including State Route 67 will continue being open to automobile site visitors by the close of the period.
