NEW YORK— The National Park Support (NPS) and the Metropolis of New York have declared an arrangement between the Town and the NPS to facilitate a route ahead for a critical coastal resiliency project on Staten Island and to clean up contaminated web sites in Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island.
The Settlement in Principle (AIP) lays the framework for potential settlement agreements concerning NPS and the City to accelerate the cleanup of a portion of the current Superfund web page at Terrific Kills Park and thoroughly clean up other web pages in Gateway Nationwide Recreation Place contaminated by historic fill.
