Summer Teacher Fellowships Offered at Acadia National Park

BAR HARBOR, MAINE – The National Park Assistance (NPS) is recruiting 6 Acadia Instructor Fellows to shell out the summertime learning about Acadia Nationwide Park’s varied natural and cultural sources, and methods to shield them. Teachers will be selected to function on Mount Desert Island and at Schoodic Place. Acadia Countrywide Park invites full-time, K-12 general public classroom university instructors to use online by February 21.

The Acadia Instructor Fellowship software strives to connect teachers and pupils to countrywide parks. Precedence is also given to lecturers from Maine colleges who do not require housing.

“Many classroom instructors desire about living in and studying about our countrywide parks,” explained Superintendent Kevin Schneider. “Acadia Trainer Fellowships are serving to make people dreams occur genuine.”

Acadia Trainer Fellows will acquire weekly stipends, instructing products from America’s National Parks Retail store, the park’s bookstore husband or wife, and shared park housing as available.
