From July 7 to August 28, 2021, Fort Vancouver Countrywide Historic Web site invites site visitors to study about the background of the 1880s at Vancouver Barracks. These stories will be shared in an outdoor exhibit in the East Vancouver Barracks, an on the net article collection, and at four walking tours led by Curator Meagan Huff.
“The 1880s at Vancouver Barracks were a interesting time,” stated Huff. “The stories we are sharing from this period of time are tales of the folks who served, worked, and lifted their people below.
