WELLFLEET, Mass. – Cape Cod Nationwide Seashore Superintendent Brian Carlstrom declared that on Thursday, September 19 the seashore will host a community meeting on the subject of electric bikes (e-bikes). The reason of the meeting is to go over the August 29, 2019 order signed by the Secretary of the Inside directing federal companies to establish principles to improve recreational options as a result of the use of electric powered bikes. Cape Cod Nationwide Seashore falls underneath this buy.

The meeting will be held from 6 to 7 pm at the Salt Pond Customer Center, found at 50 Nauset Highway at the intersection of Route 6 in Eastham, MA.

The conference will start off with a short presentation about the new purchase, the existing standing of bike trails in the countrywide seashore, and opportunity possibilities for e-bicycle use at the seashore. Soon after the presentation, attendees will have the opportunity to review background components and maps, and provide comment about the use of e-bikes on national seashore bicycle trails.
