WEST GLACIER, Mont. [May 24, 2021] – Glacier Nationwide Park announces that A lot of Glacier Highway will remain shut to car, mountaineering and bicycling visitors by Memorial Day weekend.
The highway was expected to open up May 28. Inclement weather conditions has caused delays in development, protecting against the road from reopening to visitors in time for the vacation weekend. The highway is now projected to open up June 3.
After its opening website visitors need to be expecting journey delays up to 40 minutes every way from Babb, MT, to the A lot of Glacier Lodge. The road opening postponement will not have an affect on scheduled openings of products and services at Lots of Glacier.
