Queens, N.Y. – “Exploring Gateway,” a pictures show capturing the “locations, worlds and points of time” at Gateway Nationwide Recreation Location will open up on Sunday, Feb. 16 at the Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge in Wide Channel.

The exhibit will feature the work of 9 area photographers celebrating the individuals, mother nature, and heritage of Gateway.

There are pics from the seashores of Sandy Hook, Riis Park and Jamaica Bay, unexpected snapshots of nature, such as nesting bluebirds and a plant bearing fruit resembling coloured Easter eggs.
