WEST GLACIER, Mont. [September 9, 2021] – Glacier National Park’s to start with Indigenous The us Speaks Artist-in-Residence plan starts this week. Frank Finley (September 7 – September 12)
Frank Finley is a member of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes from the Flathead Indian Reservation in Western Montana and teaches Indigenous American Scientific tests at the Salish Kootenai University.
Frank’s method at the Apgar Amphitheater at 6:45 pm on September 9th, will be a blend of concentrating on the area we call Glacier as a cultural resource and the historic routines of the Salish, Kootenai, Blackfeet Men and women, and how it has shaped his artwork.
