BAR HARBOR, MAINE – The Acadia National Park Advisory Commission will meet at park headquarters (20 McFarland Hill Travel) in Bar Harbor at 1 – 3 pm on Monday February 3, 2020. The meeting is open up to the community and will incorporate an chance for public comments.
To start with on the agenda will be an once-a-year ethics training performed and necessary by the Office of the Interior, by using teleconference. Next the teaching, Superintendent Kevin Schneider will give studies on the Acadia National Park Transportation System, Bass Harbor Head Gentle acquisition, and the Acadia Workforce Housing Initiative.
Congress designed the Acadia Nationwide Park Advisory Commission in 1986 to consult with with the Nationwide Park Services on matters relating to the administration and progress of the park, together with, but not restricted to, the acquisition of lands and passions in lands. The Fee is comprised of 16 members with a few members appointed by the Secretary of Inside, a few customers appointed by the Governor of Maine, and a person member appointed by each and every of the adhering to cities: Bar Harbor, Cranberry Isles, Frenchboro, Gouldsboro, Mount Desert, Southwest Harbor, Swans Island, Tremont, Trenton, and Wintertime Harbor.
