WEST GLACIER, Mont. [July 22, 2020] – A climbing accident resulted in a fatality when a 20-12 months-aged male fell from a ridge recognised as the Dragon’s Tail in Glacier National Park on Tuesday evening.
The Dragon’s Tail is a steep, off-path climbing route southwest of Mount Reynolds around Logan Go. The climber fell quite a few hundred ft towards Concealed Lake close to 7:30 pm. Search and rescue efforts commenced quickly following Glacier Countrywide Park dispatchers received the report of his tumble. Two Bear Air positioned the man, identified he was deceased, and recovered the body.
